There is some gel-like tissue filling in the eyeball, which is the vitreous body. As we age, the vitreous body gradually degenerates and liquefies, causing us to see some moving shadows when we look at things, commonly known as "floaters".
【Cause】
(1) Vitreous liquefaction and syneresis, and retinal separation of the fundus, can lead to acute posterior vitreous conjunctival detachment
(2) Vitreous opacity or hemorrhage
【Symptoms】
(1) Floaters can be of different sizes, and the shape can be dots, circles, lines or nets.
(2) Pathological floaters, the number of shadows is usually high, and the sudden appearance
(3) "Flashes" and visual field defects may be symptoms of retinal rupture or detachment

【Treatment】
